A Broken Family Tree

I am one of many
Small branches of a broken tree
Always looking to the ones above
For guidance, strength and security.
One little branch trying
To keep the others from breaking away
Who will fall?
And who will stay?
Now I stand alone
Looking at the earth through the rain
And I see the broken branches I knew
Scattered about me in pain.
There are those who have taken an axe
To the root of our very foundation
And who have passed this destruction
Down to every new generation.
If I could take that axe
I would toss it deep into the sea
Never to return again
To harm the generations that follow me.
I am one of many
But alone I will go
And plant the new seeds
Where a beautiful tree will grow.

Comment:

        As a person who is experiencing this problem it is very difficult to make myself more stronger without the help of a whole family. But now, I know that my life is still going on. This poem makes me realize that if some people and any trials who stands as the barriers and hindrance of life ,I should face it fairly and  accept the reality. I should be persistent of any coming challenges for I want my life to be better and be complete someday. Face what are the realities and believe in myself that soon some things will be the other way of the opposite that I am into. I know that God has given me this thing because He has purpose.

Realization, Learning and Resolution

Realization, Learnings and Resolution

Reminiscing with the happenings in my 2012 was a memorable and fantastic year I had. It’s a privileged to live happily and more positive ways despite of the things that challenge me. It seems to good know that I encountered different types of activities and works in my studies which I may use it as advantages in my future career in life. And my experiences of encountering other people was also good for me for it could enhance myself on how to be with other people to make myself as friendly and to be more interesting.

Through the 12 months of the year, I know that everyone of us is turned is stronger person. Experiencing many things is helpful to every individual and especially to me. I learned that every person has the mission and tasks that should fulfill and accomplished, whether it’s hard, we should face it as trials so that we will learned to all the wrong things we’ve done and to make it as the right things next time.

For this new year 2013, resolutions are important to everyone. And for this new year I have a lot of resolutions one of my resolution is to be a breeder of dogs in this year because I really love dog, I want to be one of the famous breeder of American Bully in a whole Negros Occidental, I’m not only focusing to my dog, but also to my family, I want to be more responsible to help my family, I will study hard  to achieve my goal that I want, and lastly I will love more my family and my one and only girl, and I promise to them that no one can surpassing my feeling of love to them.

Elements of short story


1. Setting: The first important element of a short story is the Setting. The setting refers to the time and place that the event(s) in the story take place.

2. Conflict: The conflict or complication refers to the tension, the fight or the struggle between the various characters or forces in the story. It actually is what gives fuel to the story and influences its flow (i.e. its plot). Without the conflict, then you have no story. It's that important! 

3. Character: The character element is the person or people in a story. Sometimes the characters are not human, but may be animals or spirits. Incidentally, even when non-human characters are used, they tend to have human characteristics. Characters are usually of two types: the protagonist and theantagonist.
The protagonist is the main character. He or she is in conflict with another character, who is known as the antagonist. An example of a protagonist and an antagonist are Superman, the protagonist, and Lex Luthor, the antagonist.

4. Theme: This element refers to the topic that the writer writes or comments on in his or her writing. The theme is the motif of the story, that is, it permeates the whole story and recurs throughout the narrative. An example of a theme is the topic of "bravery" in Harry Potter.

5. Plot: The plot refers to the flow of events in the story. Essentially, the plot refers to what is happening in the story. 

6. Climax: The climax is the most exciting part of a story. It refers to when the conflict is about to or is getting resolved.

7. Dialogue: Not all stories have dialogue, but it is an important element of most of them. Dialogue is a conversation between the characters. Generally, stories will be primarily composed of narrative, and will have dialogue interspersed within the narrative (For example: Sally had always loved Bill. She looked at him and smiled, "Hi Bill." "Hi Sally," he replied.). The first two lines are narrative, and the part within quotations is dialogue.

ACROSTIC

A poem, word puzzle, or other composition in which certain letters in each line form a word or words.

S- imply, futuristic people in our society

  T- hat should invest their knowledge and skills

U- sing their personal capabilities

D- uring their daily and in school activities

E- ncounters many different people

N- eeds to be responsible to achieve goal

Correspondence of sound between words or the endings of words, esp. when these are used at the ends of lines of poetry.

“CONFESSION”

At first I thought I didn’t care

Love was something I could never bear

Then I realized it was all a lie

At the moment you have made me cry

As I felt pain, tears suddenly fell

Cause’ of certain words my heart can’t tell

I never thought my wish would be granted
